Glossier You perfume has become somewhat of a cult favorite, but the price of Glossier products often doesn’t make them the most affordable option.

Glossier You eau de parfum costs $82 (or £62) for a 50ml bottle (the equivalent of 1.7 fl oz of product).

You can also buy Glossier You as a solid compact which is a cheaper alternative at $35 (or £35).

Glossier You perfume can also be called a skin scent or pheromone perfume.

The reason for this is that it uses a pheromone receptor stimulant, or synthetic molecule, called iso e super.

It works with your body chemistry and mimics the pheromones a body naturally releases. These are said to aid in attraction.

Other luxury perfumes and designer fragrance houses have their own interpretation of these fragrances and skin scents too, but Glossier You remains a favorite for many.

What does Glossier You smell like?

Because each person releases their own pheromones, a perfume like Glossier You will smell differently on different people.

The overall effect is a musky, floral mix.

Glossier You contains the spicy top note of pink pepper, followed by a musky base of ambrette seeds and what Glossier calls ‘ambery ambrox.’ These are balanced with a floral iris note.

You might find yourself a cheap alternative at an affordable price. However please note that some of these perfumes are actually more expensive than Glossier You, but many have lower prices.

You can also sometimes buy small decanted samples on Etsy.

Glossier makes great products that are of a high quality. Glossier You is such a different scent from standard perfumes that it’s quite hard for brands to copy, and it is a gorgeous fragrance in its own right.

However the good thing is that you can find similar perfumes to Glossier You either at a great price or just in a more accessible location to you.

These have a similar vibe to Glossier You and are from the same fragrance family, having that same woody scent with iris notes.Glossier You is one of those iconic fragrances that will remain a favorite for a long time.
