The Primark perfume dupes are some of the most popular copies of designer fragrances out there on the high street today. I’ve put together a full list of as many as I can and I am always updating this list. My personal favorite is Powder Blush which is a dupe of Prada’s Candy. Not only are they a fraction of the price of very expensive iconic fragrances, they are also in many cases dead ringers for those from designer brands.
Primark’s cheap perfumes have been compared to beautiful scents from the likes of Jo Malone, Marc Jacobs and Chloé. They are a great option if you love designer perfumes but are in search of budget-friendly beauty alternatives.
For example, a small 30ml bottle of a Jo Malone fragrance costs more than £50 alone. The equivalent Primark dupe is currently £8 for a 100ml bottle.
Of course, you may prefer to buy the real deal rather than a cheaper alternative. But if you fancy keeping your expensive scents for special occasions, you may be able to find a perfect dupe in Primark for everyday use.

The problem with discontinued fragrances
Finding out a high street store has a great dupe of one of your favourite perfumes causes a lot of excitement.
This is especially true when it’s an exact copy of one of the much coveted Jo Malone scents.
Quite often, when Primark brings out a new perfume range it’s only a limited edition.
At other times, Primark will just discontinue something from its range.
Sadly, lots of the most famous Primark dupes are no longer available in a Primark store or on their website.
You can find them online, but they tend to be at inflated prices.
However, it’s possible Primark will bring back some of these discontinued and limited edition perfumes.
The Aldi perfume dupes do occasionally come back in stock, so let’s hope Primark do the same.
Are Primark perfumes cruelty free?
Yes they are cruelty free.
All of Primark’s own brand cosmetics and beauty products have never been tested on animals.
This is unlike many of the designer brands that Primark’s perfumes copy.

Room sprays, reed diffusers and hand washes
It’s not just Primark perfumes that are dupes for designer scents.
Primark also often brings out home fragrances and hand washes that bear a striking resemblance to those from Jo Malone.
I also remember a while back having hand creams from Primark that were strikingly similar to the cult classic hand cream from L’Occitane.
Why do companies make perfume copies?
High street brands know just how popular these designer scents are.
After making copies of them, they usually receive a flurry of press and excitement among the perfume-loving public.
This results in higher levels of sales and a growing fanbase of bargain hunters.
A copy or a dupe is a fragrance that smells exactly (or almost exactly) like another one.
The dupe is usually much less expensive than the one it’s copying.
